Converting from a mid-efficiency furnace

Here the existing furnace was not situated near an outside wall, but luckily the solution does not require a complete relocation of the furnace room. The new high-efficiency Air handler takes the place of the original furnace, while the Tankless Water Heater was installed seperartely on an exterior wall where it can be easily vented. The two units are connected by standard water lines.

Before - Typical mid-efficiency furnace and water tank installation vented into an existing chimney flue.

The Tankless Water Heater can be installed on an outside wall up to 75' away from the Air Handler.

After - The old furnace was replaced with the Air Handler and connected with water lines to the Tankless Water Heater located in another area of the basement.
